This policy explains how OperonFlow Pty Ltd handles personal information when you use our websites and apps.

1. Who controls your data
OperonFlow Pty Ltd is responsible for personal information we collect through operonflow.com.au and OperonFlow applications, except where Paddle (our Merchant of Record) processes payment and buyer data as an independent controller for checkout and billing.

We may collect:
- Account details (name, email, organisation, role)
- Usage and product data needed to operate subscriptions and support
- Content you upload or create in our apps (for example SOP documents, bookings, or prospect lists)
- Technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, and approximate location
- Communications you send us (support, sales, or contact forms)
Payment card details for Paddle Checkout are collected and processed by Paddle — we do not store full card numbers on OperonFlow systems.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, secure, and improve our products and websites
- Manage accounts, trials, subscriptions, and customer support
- Communicate service notices and respond to enquiries
- Meet legal and compliance obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We may send product or marketing emails where permitted; you can opt out using unsubscribe links or by contacting us.

We share information with service providers who help us operate (hosting, analytics, email, and error monitoring) under appropriate agreements, and with Paddle for payment processing and Merchant of Record services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Our providers may process data in Australia and other countries. Where we transfer personal information overseas we take steps appropriate to the circumstances and applicable Australian privacy requirements.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services and meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution requirements. We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information; no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Depending on applicable law (including the Australian Privacy Principles), you may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy complaint.
